Apple Cinnamon Granola

Apple Cinnamon Granola is crunchy, chewy and naturally sweet. Super easy to make with only 4 ingredients and less than 30 minutes. A healthy delicious breakfast or snack has never been so good. Gluten free, oat free and vegan to suit most dietary requirements.

Ingredients

  • 160 grams Buckwheat flakes
  • 130 grams Applesauce Homemade or store brought
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180c and lined a baking tray with greaseproof papper

  2. In a large bowl add buckwheat flakes and cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix to combine.

  3. Add in the applesauce and stir to fully incorporate. The mixture should clump together.

  4. Add the granola mixture to the lined baking tray. Press it down to create a flat single layer.

  5. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes at 180c.

  6. Remove from the oven and crumble the mixture up.

  7. Put the granola back in the oven for another 6-8 minutes. Be careful not burn it.

  8. Remove from the oven and leave to cool. Add the flaked almonds and any extra add ins you like. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
