Salted Caramel Chocolate Blondies (Gluten Free, Dairy Free)

Simple, easy and delicious salted caramel chocolate blondies. Only 7 ingredients needed and 25 minutes. Great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for quick yet tasty dessert.  

Soft and Gooey Salted Caramel Chocolate Blondies  

When it comes to blondies and brownies there is two types of people. Ones who love the centre pieces and ones who love the corner pieces. Now for me I love the centre pieces more since they tend to be more fudgy and gooey. But in all honestly I will eat any blondie piece available. They all taste amazing it’s more of a texture thing. As the corner pieces tend to bake more and get a little crispy edge on them. Whereas the centre piece is  more under baked and super soft.  

Which are Best Blondies or Brownies? 

Of course, this a personal choice as they both have a place. If you have been here for a while then you will know how much I love brownies. I’ve used sweet potato, beetroot, pumpkin and avocado to make different variations, as well as more standard versions. I find blondies a little trickier to master but would love to come up with more flavour combinations in the future.

Am yet to master a vegan baked blondie/brownie recipe. If you have got any tips then leave me a comment below. I’ve tried to make them without eggs but find they don’t bake properly and don’t have the texture am looking for. There is one no bake sweet potato brownie recipe on the blog that is vegan. In terms of a regular baked brownie, I haven’t managed to perfect them yet. All the blondie/brownie recipes on the blog are dairy free as I simply swapped the butter for non-dairy butter.

How to Store Salted Caramel Chocolate Blondies  

Once completely cooled wrap them in tin foil or baking parchment and store at room temperature. Best eaten within 3-5 days if they last that long.

Salted Caramel Chocolate Blondies

  • 140 grams Almond flour
  • 30 grams Coconut sugar
  • 35 grams Dairy free butter
  • 2 medium Eggs
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 38 grams Caramel and sea salt Nomo chocolate bar
  • 38 grams Caramel Nomo chocolate bar


  1. Pre heat oven to 180c. Line a small rectangle baking dish with grease proof paper.

  2. In a medium sized bowl mix the almond flour, coconut sugar and baking powder together.

  3. Melt butter in the microwave in 10 second burst until melted.

  4. Add the melted butter and both eggs to the dry mixture. Mix well to combine everything together.

  5. Chop up half the caramel and sea salt and half the caramel chocolate bars. Add to the mixture and stir to combine.

  6. Scoop the mixture into the lined baking dish. Top with the other half off each of the chocolate bars.

  7. Bake the blondies at 180c for 10-12 minutes.

  8. Remove from the oven. They blondies will still be soft and just baked. Leave to cool and firm up a bit before cutting into 6 squares.

  9. Store leftover blondies either wrapped in tin foil or grease proof paper or in an airtight container at room temperature. Best eaten with 3-5 days of they last that long.
