Yep you heard that right. No need to wait around for this dough to bake. Grab a spoon and get stuck in! Made without eggs so it’s safe to eat straight from the mixing bowl. It’s also vegan, gluten and refined sugar free so everyone can enjoy it.  

Cookie dough lovers unite! Seriously who needs to actually bake the dough. With this edible cookie dough recipe you can eat it in under 5 minutes. Whoop Whoop! 

This recipe came about simply because I wanted to taste test the cookie dough I was baking for another blog post. Let’s be honest I’ve lick the bowl EVERYTIME I’ve baked something before. If am about to eat the entire batch raw then I don’t need to be getting sick.

Enter this AMAZINGLY easy edible cookie dough. This is the base recipe which I added chocolate chips to but seriously you could add ANYTHING you wanted to the options are ENDLESS.  

You will struggle to not make this recipe all the time its perfect for a girl’s night in, movie night or literally just you next binge TV show session. Who needs a reason when it taste this GOOD and is SUPER EASY to make.

Ingredients needed: 

GF Plain Flour

Dairy Free Butter

Coconut Sugar

Aquafaba

Fruit Syrup

70% Dark Chocolate

The Key to Making it Safe to Eat 

First bake the flour in the oven to kill of any bacteria. Spread the flour on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 7ish minutes.  

Second since this recipe is vegan anyway, we of course won’t be using any eggs. Instead swap them for aquafaba, the liquid from a can of chickpeas. This is a great vegan baking hack.

Final Result. 

Edible cookie dough for the win! Am super happy how this turned out its not overly sweet it’s smooth and very addictive. The coconut sugar gives it a subtle sweet taste with a hint of caramel and the dark chocolate is rich and indulgent. A perfect combo if you ask me.

Ingredients

  • 140 grams GF plain flour
  • 65 grams DF butter i used stork baking block
  • 25 grams Coconut sugar
  • 25 grams Natvia sweetener
  • 10 grams Fruit syrup
  • 3 tbsp Aquafaba
  • 30 grams 70% Dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Place your flour on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180 for around 7 minutes to kill of any bacteria. 

  2. Add coconut sugar and nativa sweetener to a food processor or blender and blitz to create a powder. 

  3. Add all ingredients except chocolate to a medium sized mixing bowl. Stir it altogether to combine.

  4. Add chocolate and mix to incorporate. Eat straight away or store any leftovers in an air tight container in the fridge for around 3 days.
