To keep this recipe gluten free you will have to find gluten free pretzels. The only ones I’ve found are these Schar mini pretzels. I bought them from Asda but you can find them in most supermarkets in the UK. They are crunchy, lightly salted and yummy all on their own.

Next to create the peanut butter filling you will need both powdered peanut butter and natural smooth peanut butter. I used PB fit and Meridian for this. By mixing both together it creates a thick paste that you can press into the centre of each bite.

Choosing a mould to make these bites in will determined how easy they are to turn out once complete. I chose to use a silicone cake pop tray the side without the hole. These made it super easy to pop each bite out.

You will have to store these bites in the fridge until you are ready to enjoy them. As coconut oil used in this chocolate will melt. Alternatively, you could use either store bought dark chocolate that doesn’t contain any milk. Or swap the coconut oil for cacao butter in the raw chocolate recipe.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites

In conclusion these chocolate peanut pretzel bites turned out seriously delicious and very addictive. Be warned you will struggle not to eat them all in one go!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 batch of my raw dark chocolate recipe link in blog post
  • 12 grams powdered peanut butter i used PB fit
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 20 grams smooth natural peanut butter 100% peanuts nothing added
  • 20 grams GF pretzels i used schar brand

Instructions

  1. I used a silicone cake pop mould (the side without the hole) to make these bites in. You can use whatever you like but i do suggest it be silicone for easy removable once made.

  2. Crush pretzels up, divide evenly between 10 cavities. I used one pretzel per cavity.

  3. Spoon 1 tsp of the raw chocolate over crushed pretzels to cover completely. Place in fridge to set chocolate for about 10 minutes.

  4. In the mean time mix 12 grams of powdered peanut butter with 2 tbsp of water. Stir until well combined.

  5. Add 20 grams of smooth natural peanut butter into the powdered peanut butter mixture. Stir together until combined and you have a thick paste,

  6. Once chocolate has set remove from the fridge and divide the peanut butter mixture evenly between the 10 cavities. Press down to create an even layer over the chocolate.

  7. Add 1 tsp of raw chocolate on top of peanut butter and smooth over. Return the finished bites to the fridge for another 15- 20 minutes to set completely before eating.

  8. If you used a silicone mould then they should be easy to pop out. Store them in the fridge or the chocolate will melt because of the coconut oil used to make it. Enjoy.
