Sugar cookies are a holiday staple in my house. Making cookies at Christmas is a great family tradition to start and a very tasty one at that.

Cut out cookie or drop cookies?

These candy cane sugar cookies are the drop cookie type, making them quicker and easy to make. Christmas can be pretty crazy at times, having a cookie recipe that doesn’t require rolling out or decorating after its baked can save the day.
