It all started back in august 2016. When i decided i wanted to become happier and healthier. In the beginning i just wanted to lose some weight and look better but quickly as time when on I realised that I was starting to actually enjoy working out and wanted to learn more about the whole fitness Industry.
I decided to get a personal trainer in October which Is definitely not something everyone needs to do but I found that it really helped me understand how to get the correct form while doing exercises and it took the guess work out of it for me. This is where I realised that you can’t out train a bad diet. I’ve never had a particularly unhealthy diet but a long the way I’ve learnt a lot about what foods work best for me and my digestive system.
I have found that gluten/wheat, carrots, garlic, onion, raisins, beans, apples and bananas don’t agree with me and make me bloat really bad so I avoid them. This is how I got into making most of my own food from scratch. I have always enjoyed baking but now I love making healthier versions of all types of food.
Health and fitness really do go hand in and hand and for me I find when you turn it into a lifestyle instead of a “diet” then it’s not hard to stick to.
